Loops on two sides, pegs on the other two. Line them up, press down and they lock.

The tiles are completely moisture and mould resistant. Built-in air channels underneath let any water dry out on its own.

It is a low-maintenance floor. The surface you walk on stays clear, so you clean less often. A blower or a vacuum does the job.

On a bare slab the floor grips, and every tile locks to the ones around it. A turning tyre pushes on the whole floor, not on one tile.

Both suit a garage, so choose the look you prefer. Vented does not need cleaning as often. Solid has a closed top that is easy to mop. They click into the same floor. Both are UV resistant. For an outdoor floor with no cover, open to the rain, we recommend vented. See ULTRATUFF™, the solid tile

Installation Guide

What you'll need

  • Tape measure
  • Rubber mallet
  • Jigsaw (for edge cuts)
  • Marker or pencil
  • Broom
  • Optional: easy tile cutter

Time estimate

  • Single garage (20-25 sqm): 4-6 hours
  • Double garage (40-50 sqm): 6-10 hours
  • No curing time — drive on immediately

Installation steps

  1. 1

    Start from the entrance

    Begin laying tiles at the garage door corner. Leave a 5–10mm expansion gap at all walls.

  2. 2

    Lay the first row

    Complete your first row across the garage, clicking tiles together. The interlocking pegs and loops do the work.

  3. 3

    Fit entrance ramps

    Attach ramp trims to the first row and slide the row snug against the garage door.

  4. 4

    Centre your design (optional)

    If your design has a centred pattern, adjust the first row to leave equal gaps on both sides.

  5. 5

    Lay remaining tiles

    Continue laying rows towards the back and side walls, clicking each tile into the previous one.

  6. 6

    Trim edges and finish

    Cut edge tiles with a jigsaw, click them in, and your floor is ready to use immediately — no curing time. Our optional tile cutter makes the straight cuts easy: one stroke, no power, no dust.

FAQ
Mark your cut line with a pencil, then use a standard jigsaw with a fine-tooth blade. The polypropylene cuts cleanly and quickly. Some customers find a small circular saw even faster for straight edges on ULTRAGRID® tiles.
Yes. A standard domestic pressure washer on a fan nozzle setting works well. Avoid holding the jet in one spot at point-blank range, but normal sweeping passes across ULTRAGRID® tiles are perfectly safe.
Leave a gap of approximately 5–10 mm around the perimeter walls. This allows the Turbo Teal tiles to expand and contract slightly with temperature changes. The gap sits behind your ramp edging or wall skirting, so it is hidden from view.
Absolutely. Turbo Teal ULTRAGRID® tiles perform well in covered outdoor areas. The UV-stabilised material handles sun exposure, and the operating temperature range of minus forty to one hundred and twenty degrees Celsius covers every Australian climate.
