Zac Baldy makes car build films on YouTube from Melbourne. For one build he took on his own double garage. He painted the walls white and the ceiling dark. Then came an ULTRAGRID® chequer in Silver Grey and Space Grey, with ULTRABEAM™ lights overhead.

The paint came first, and he had a reason for the dark ceiling.

For the floor, he looked at painting the slab and at epoxy, then chose floor tiles. He picked Silver Grey and Space Grey and ran the chequer across the whole garage. He had never laid a floor like it before. With a helper, he worked from the front of the garage to the back.

He also liked what happens if he ever moves house.

"They look incredible. It makes the space just so unique and awesome. Plus, if I ever move, I'm able to take it there as well."

Nothing is fixed down. If you move, the floor comes too.

LED garage lights hung as two big rectangles

The lights are an ULTRABEAM 3-Box kit. The height and the dark ceiling were his own idea. He hung the tubes low, as one big rectangle at the back and one at the front.

He tints cars in the garage too, so the light has a job to do.
