Why vented tiles
The low-maintenance garage floor
Vented tiles handle water, dust, and debris with minimal effort from you. Designed to work with Australia’s climate, not against it.
Low day-to-day maintenance
Dust and debris drop out of sight instead of sitting on the surface where it gets tracked through the house. A quick blow-through with a leaf blower once or twice a year keeps underneath tidy.
Self-draining surface
Rain drips off your car? Wet shoes from outside? Water drains straight through and evaporates naturally from the concrete. No puddles, no mopping, no squeegee.
Airflow prevents mould
Continuous ventilation under the tiles reduces condensation and stops mould before it starts.
20-tonne load capacity
Handles cars, utes, trolley jacks, and heavy equipment. Full-lock turns, sharp steering, and rolling loads — no cracking, no denting, no movement.
Snap-together in 4–6 hours
No fixing, no tools, no tradies. Click-lock tiles that anyone can install in a weekend.
Built for Australian conditions
UV-stable, heat-resistant, and chemical-proof. From coastal humidity to 40°C summer days.
Where they shine
Built for real garages
From everyday parking to weekend detailing — vented tiles handle it all with minimal upkeep.

Frequently asked questions
What makes vented tiles low-maintenance?
Dust, leaves, and fine debris drop through the openings instead of sitting on the surface where you’d walk through it and track it inside. Water drains through and evaporates on its own. The surface stays visibly cleaner for longer, and you still just sweep the top occasionally. Underneath, a blow-through with a leaf blower once or twice a year is all most customers do.
How often do I need to clean under vented tiles?
Most customers blow a leaf blower along the edges once or twice a year — the airflow pushes debris out from underneath without lifting any tiles. You can also hose through the surface and let it drain. For a deeper clean, unclip tiles from one edge, sweep or vacuum the concrete, and snap them back. Most people are surprised how little actually accumulates — it’s mostly fine dust.
What’s the difference between the three vented ranges?
ULTRAGRID has the most open surface — maximum drainage and the classic two-tone look. ULTRACORE has a flat surface with hidden ventilation underneath — looks seamless but breathes. ULTRAFLUX has a geometric star pattern — visual impact with ventilation. All three interlock with each other.
Will vented tiles feel unstable underfoot?
No. All Sleek Space tiles carry a 20 t/m² load rating and are engineered to support vehicles and heavy equipment without flexing. ULTRACORE in particular feels remarkably solid — its hidden-join design gives it the rigidity of a solid tile.
Can I mix vented and solid tiles in the same garage?
Yes — all five Sleek Space tile ranges use the same snap-lock system. A popular layout is vented tiles near the door and solid tiles in the workshop area. The transition between zones is seamless.
Are vented tiles good for coastal or humid areas?
Excellent. Airflow between the tile and concrete keeps the sub-floor drier, reduces condensation, and dramatically lowers the risk of mould. If you’re anywhere along the Australian coastline, vented tiles are the smart default.
Do vented tiles let insects underneath?
The gap is minimal — typically 15–18 mm. There’s no food source and limited moisture. In practice, this is not a problem Australian homeowners report. Tiles can be lifted for inspection at any time.
Can I install this myself?
Yes — the tiles click together by hand. Most customers finish a double garage in 4–6 hours using a tape measure and jigsaw for edge trims.
How much does a standard double garage cost?
A standard 6×6m double garage typically costs around $1,800 with ULTRAGRID. Our floor kits include everything you need at a bundled price.
Do you ship to my area?
We ship free Australia-wide. Orders ship from Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane — whichever is closest to you.
Can I use a trolley jack on vented tiles?
Yes. All Sleek Space tiles are rated to 20 t/m² and handle trolley jacks, axle stands, and rolling tool cabinets without issue. The load is distributed across the tile surface. Thousands of home mechanics use them daily.
Will tyres damage the tiles or cause them to shift?
No. The tiles handle full-lock turns, mud tyres, and daily driving in and out. The snap-lock system holds each tile firmly to its neighbours — they won’t shift, bulge, or separate under normal vehicle use. We recommend an entry strip glued to the concrete at the garage opening for extra security.
What about small screws and parts in a workshop?
Small fasteners can fall through vented openings. If you regularly work with tiny parts, consider using solid tiles in your workbench area and vented tiles at the garage entry for drainage. All five Sleek Space ranges use the same snap-lock system, so you can mix vented and solid in one floor.
